I really enjoyed creating this screen printed book for the visual response of context of practice. Screen printing was a new technique for me to learn and I'm really pleased I did try it in my first year as I spoke to a few second and third years and they said it was a good idea to try and get the hang of it as early as possible.
I found creating/producing the book through screen print and binding it within two quite difficult and it did push my abilities to manage my time well as there were only small amounts of time to have a screen and use one of the beds.
The research and use of quotes based on social impact and William Morris' lectures was incredibly inspiring for an overall thought process on art and design as a whole both in the past and the present. In the future I definitely want to work on projects where I can create quotes myself and perhaps do a small amount of writing as I love books and creative writing from my time at college/sixth form.
