Tattoo & The Art Of Ink
It was interesting to see tattoos exhibited as artwork as quite often people are judged and there is quite a stigma with tattoos. However this exhibition really portrayed tattooists as artists as some of the tattoos had concepts and others were just simply immaculately detailed and overall aesthetically beautiful. With my own personal interests with alternative music and that of the "alternative" culture I personally found it quite refreshing to see tattoo's being portrayed in this manner as pieces of artwork, it has also inspired me to want to continue drawing in fine liners and illustrating again like I did in school/college.
